Lt. Michael Murphy called this "Body Armor." He performed it in body armor, in the heat, alone — for fitness, for purpose, for grit. Every Memorial Day, we do the same.
Whether you're going Rx'd in a vest or running two miles in honor — there's a heat for you.
Pick your location, then your heat. Tap any open heat to sign up. Spots are limited at each heat.
FOB Rasor is a Conroe-based nonprofit providing peer support, mentorship, and recovery tools for veterans and first responders dealing with PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, and addiction.
They run weekly meetings, outreach to sober-living homes and the county jail, and partner with the Montgomery County Suicide Prevention Taskforce. Vets helping vets — kneecap to kneecap, no judgment, no cost to attend.
Murph was created by a Navy SEAL. We honor that by lifting up the warriors still here, still fighting their own battles. Every athlete is invited to add a donation at signup. 100% of donations from this event go directly to FOB Rasor.

On June 28, 2005, during Operation Red Wings in the mountains of Afghanistan, Lt. Murphy moved into the open under heavy fire to call for help for his team. He was killed making that call. His actions saved lives.
The workout he loved became the workout we do — every Memorial Day, in every gym, by tens of thousands of athletes. Not because it's easy. Because he was the kind of man worth remembering.
